OK, time to start an argument [smile]

Personally I use iOS but I do also / have also used Windows mobile 10 (950XL) and it was a great phone - just  alack of apps!

I used Android for a good time (I still have the HTC G1, first ever Android phone!) and stayed with Android upto the Nexus 4 but iOS just seemed so polished in comparison and I really don't like how Google use every bit of data they can to profile and advertise to me.

Office is as follows

Steve - iPhone 7 Plus / iOS
Kelly - iPhone 6 / iOS
Asia - S7 Edge / Android (but wants an iPhone 8!)
Mike - Nexus 5x / Android (soon to be a Pixel so he says...)
Joanne - iPhone 6s / iOS
Stephen - Samsung S5 / Android
Chris - Huawei something or other (Honor 6x  I think) / Android
Jo - S7 / Android

Pretty even split here!

iPhone 6S - holding out for the new launch, hopefully decent offering due to Anniversary.  I do like LG and a few others, but has to be Apple for the reliability of iOS (in comparison to Android).

Pixel could sway me... lol

Android for personal phone and windows for business phone.

Really hopping Microsoft can sort it out as I really like my 950 but it's a bit embarrassing having to explain to people what it is when they say "haven't seen a phone like that before, what is it"

Tell me about it. Surface phone may sway me back to Windows.

Loved the continuum feature, live tiles are great too - just a shame devs didn't support the platform - I also found it a little buggy.

At one point they built an android emulator into the os so you could port android apps onto windows phone and most worked really well but they got rid of it.

I'm on the insider programme with fast track updates so its not uncommon to have to restart a couple of times a day because something froze up, but fixes are updated pretty quick. Only problem with being an insider is it stops me from being able to use banking apps as they think my phone has been jail broken.

Continuum is what is going to be the USP that brings them back into play but they just need to refine it, possibly bundle the surface phone with a free Bluetooth keyboard and mouse aswell.

What's strange with developers is that Microsoft have made it incredibly easy to port existing ios and android apps onto the Microsoft UWP.

Android all the way. Had a 4s way back for about a month. Just could not get used to it.

I have tried the Windows phones and personally have always disliked them, Android I really don't like due to it being to much of an open system, now iOS is simple yes it can be just as frustrating but at least I know that apple check the apps security and stability.

The only iPhone I've ever had was a 3GS. Went over to Android after that and have never looked back. Currently got a Nexus 5, not rooted which I know a lot of people do. Only grip with it as of late is the battery life - anyone know of a repair centre that might do such a thing? [biggrin]

Mend My iPhone
I Started life on a chipped o2 Genie, every time it was rebooted it got £80 of credit on a chip soldered onto of the main chip. Then a Palm Tree (loved it), then the Google G1 that i bricked 2 of using Cyanagen's mods and then landed onto the 3gs and all iOS devices ever since. Now have a 6 plus for home use and a 6 for work. Love iOS cos it does what I need a phone to do without needed to waste my time and energy modding it. That's why i don't use windows either - the more you tinker the more it falls apart !

it's amazing isn't it how many diff types we all prefer and use and why ! and the passion with it.
