Let's get to the basics, there are two types of hdmi ports , oem and aftermarket ...
It 's not real to buy an original so let' s start with aftermarket ...
Aftermarket - divided into two generations , And let's choose the second generation ...
Because the hdmi port contacts are has melted its correct positions , and you don't
actually damage them anymore with the cable ... Original you can't buy so forget it ,
because it will be heated twice , You will understand this from the picture ...

Choose only the best , Avoid sellers with this number 56SBH - it is offered as an original ...
It is not and will not be true and contact with the motherboard is something unthinkable ...

What you need to know , hdmi port contacts are has melted its correct positions , and
contacts on the motherboard ideal straight line ...The only problem - The right edge will be
pushed forward or backward (on the motherboard), but very minimal , The picture shows which side ...

Defects of the original - HDMI port contacts with cable contacts ...
Pluses of the original - If the port is damaged, it will not cause a short circuit because the
contacts slide along their trajectory , and we are protected from component changes ...

Good right up. These are easy to do once you've done one. Main thing with the new ones is lining the board connections correctly. Place on the board lined up and solder 2 or 3 pins either side to hold the port in place. Doesn't matter about bridges as these can be sorted later. Now solder the legs. Once they're all soldered in place finish soldering all the pins to the board sorting any bridges from earlier. Should work like a dream.
