Hi, I've just received a new membrane (thanks for the quick delivery!), however there appears to be a problem with it.

The controller is permanently registering that the R2 trigger is 'on', even with the rubber trigger pad removed - verified by plugging the controller into a win 10 laptop and looking at the device settings (button 8 is the R2 trigger and is permanently lit).

I'm confident I've fitted it correctly.

Any ideas?

Hi, nothing obvious no, I've taken it off and refitted it and all looks good as far as I can see.
