I knew I should have left well alone with this iPad Air 12.9" but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Friend of daughters dropped it and dinged the corner frame so Vol UP key jammed in. Unable to budge it from outside so took screen out and sorted button issue from inside.

Took all the precautions, disconnected battery with my plastic disconnect tool before disconnecting display connectors - all good.

But in trying to reconnect panel I knocked the battery disconnect and of course I've managed to blow the filter for digitiser.  Can see the blown filter just above connector but microsoldering is outside my scope.

Is anyone able to assist?  I don't need panel refitting, just the filter replaced - urgently!

Should be able to help with this - do you have a ZXW tool; or schematics so that we can know exactly which filter you have blown? - We can then offer a quote for the repair.

I don't have ZXW I'm afraid but research suggests it's a 240OHM-350MA 0201.  The blown one is the same filter as shown on the link below albeit mine is visibly smoked [frown]
