Hi All
Just joined and I thought I'd ask about a microscope suitable for connectingin to PC. Jobs will be used for include HDMI port replacement and board investigations. Ideally not too large but with good quality magnification/illumination of work area and sufficient room for soldering/tool work below the lens.

Any thoughts?
Thanks

I recently bought a USB Microscope/endoscope/boroscope that I am really impressed with. Look for TESLONG on Amazon for £26. Quality piece of kit but, as will all these little cameras, its fixed focal length but its small enough to get into tight spaces. Works perfectly on MacBookPro and Samsung S8+.

hi I bought long view binocular microscope last year, it doesn't take up much space and is a brilliant piece of kit. It has made my life so much easier.

That looks excellent, I am envious. If I find a spare £300 then it will be on my Xmas present list! Do you know if it can export snapshots and video to a computer to record what you see?

the eye piece camera is an add on, I got one from the same place as the microscope it connects to the computer using usb and does video and snapshots. You've got about 6" working space between the board your working on and the microscope.
