Hi Guys,

I get quite a few Samsungs and other brands with smashed rear camera lens, I have no problem removing the bits of glass that are left but always wondered the best way to clean the rear camera lens before re-fitting a new glass?  I have tried just blowing it, blower brush, cotton bud with alcohol on it and microfibre cloth with alcohol on it but most of the time it makes the camera worse.

Any tips guys [smile]

Are you using 99% isopropyl alcohol? I usually find that a q-tip/cotton bud dipped in 99% cleans just about anything glass. If this doesn't work, check that the lens isn't actually plastic, or has a plastic coating.
